Nsukka, Nigeria - The Nkpokote Nsukka Development Forum (NNDF) hosted a grand Colloquium and Award of Recognition ceremony on January 4, 2026, at the Ekpo Ref., University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), to pay tribute to the illustrious sons and daughters of Nsukka Land.

The event drew a galaxy of dignitaries, including Prof. Simon Ortuanya, Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, RT. Hon. Fidel Ayogu, Rear Admiral Cajethan Aniaku, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogballa, Gen. Godwin Ugwoke (RTD), Gen. Victor Ezugwu (RTD), Barr. Bartholomew Ugwoke (President, NNDF), Dr. Chinedu Onu, Chief Omeh Mathias, Prof. Osita Ogbu, Sen. Chuka Utazi, and numerous other distinguished sons and daughters of Nsukka.

During the ceremony, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla was honored with an award, recognizing his outstanding contributions to society, alongside several other awardees. The event was a resounding celebration of excellence, underscoring the unwavering commitment of Nsukka's sons and daughters to the development of their cultural zone.

The NNDF Colloquium and Award of Recognition ceremony showcased the organization's steadfast dedication to fostering unity, progress, and excellence in Nsukka Land. The highlight of the event was the grand birthday celebration of Dr. Chinedu Onu, organized by the NNDF, which epitomized the unique camaraderie and esprit de corps that defines Nsukka Land.
