Chinemeagu TV, January 4, 2026 - In a heartwarming display of philanthropy and commitment to community development, Dr. Mrs. Nnenna Ugwu, wife of Mr. Ugwu Chukwudi (Ozor Ikukuoma), has made a profound impact on the lives of young girls in Obimo and surrounding communities.

Through her Nnenna Ugwu Foundation, Dr. Ugwu launched a skill acquisition center at her residence in Obimo in August 2025, offering free training in Fashion Designing and Make-up/Gele Making to young girls. After six months of rigorous training, the 2025 program culminated triumphantly on December 31st, with every participant celebrated and generously rewarded for their commitment and hard work.

The top performers in each category received cash prizes and professional equipment, including sewing machines and make-up boxes, to help them start their own businesses. This initiative is a testament to the power of empowerment and the impact it can have on individuals and communities.

"Initiatives like this not only transform individual lives but uplift entire communities by fostering self-reliance, creativity, and economic growth," said a spokesperson for the foundation.
