FORUM OF MENTEES TO HOLD ANNUAL LECTURE IN HONOUR OF PROF NNABUKO .

The Forum of PhD Mentees of Prof Justitia O. Nnabuko,  University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, are set to hold an annual marketing lecture in her honour on Tuesday, 23rd September 2025, which is her 71st birthday anniversary. 

The Forum at its general meeting on 16 September 2025 resolved to Institute an  annual lecture to be known as: "Prof. Justitia Odinakachukwu Nnabuko annual integrated marketing public lecture".

The Forum described Prof Nnabuko as a marketing icon, public relations guru, astute administrator and a lover of her students.

Prof. Justitia Nnabuko, a Professor of Marketing from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus is a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, among others. She has impacted the societyin diverse ways. 

The virtual public lecture, by Zoom, will be presented by a renowned Pubic Relations expert, Dr. Jossy Nkwocha, fnipr, the MD/CEO Reputation Masters Limited and former Group Head, Corporate Communications, Indorama Eleme Petrochemical and Fertilizer Group, Port Harcourt.

The topic of the lecture is: "Prof. J.O. Nnabuko and the concept of marketing Nigeria through reputation management".

Chairman of the lecture is Prof. Gerald Nebo of the Department of Marketing, Enugu State University of Science and Technology.

The special Guest of Honour is Hon. Jones Onyereri, PhD, former Member, House of Representatives. 

The Forum invites the university community, marketing and public relations professionals, government officials and the general public to the lecture, which would start at 1pm prompt through a Zoom link to be shared.

New Bishop consecrated and installed at Nsukka!

Nsukka, Enugu State - A significant event took place on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Golden Valley Hotel Ltd , Nsukka. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph Chigbo Agu was consecrated and installed as the first Byzantine Catholic Bishop in Southern Nigeria . The ceremony was performed by three esteemed bishops: - His Grace Most Rev.
