Igbo Etiti LGA starts voters sensitization, as State Party Leaders visit the Local Government Headquarters.

Activities marking the commencement of educating, sensitizing and mobilizing the people of Igbo-Etiti to participate fully in the on-going voter registration exercise was today kicked-off at Ogbede, the council headquarters.

Speaking during event, the Council Chairman Hon. Dr Eric Odo eulogized the Governor of Enugu state's pragmatic leadership style. Hon. Odo said that Governor Mbah has made the PDP proud in Enugu State and by so doing has made himself the party for the NDI IGBO-ETITI. In other words he said "where Governor Peter Goes politically, we, the people of Igbo-Etiti will Go. 

He further enjoined the people to make sure that every available opportunity is maximized to equip Igbo-Etiti for the forthcoming political contest in the country. He said that there is always a pay-back time and Governor Mbah needed to be fully supported with hundred percent votes by the people of the council.

The council chairman was blunt as he said  "we needed to increase our number of votes as a mark of appreciation to our dear Governor and father and to get this properly done; go and make sure that you and your people obtain and use your PVC.

Speaking during the event, the Enugu State PDP chairman and former commissioner for education  Hon. Dr Martins Chukwunwike  gave an appraisal of the Government and leadership of His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah in which it was a testimony of good governance. According to the State party chairman; the best way to appreciate the Governor is by obtaining and using the voter's card to put him back to office come 2027.

In furtherance, Dr Chukwunwike described Igbo-Etiti LGA Council boss as a 'political Capital to PDP'. He recognized the empathetic disposition and distribution of the fruits of democracy to the widows, widowers and the less privileged. By so doing, Dr. Eric has multiplied the political yield by the next election season.

In his words, Dr Chukwunwike said 

"Dr. Eric Odo has proven to be a political Capital to PDP in Igbo-Etiti by attracting treasured political interest to the party via his administration 's recognition and empowerment of the WIDOWS in the council area."

His investment in the widows, widowers and the less privileged anchored on his leadership tripod mantra of *EQUITY, FAIRNESS AND JUSTICE* is yielding the needed (desired) dividend of good governance.

New Bishop consecrated and installed at Nsukka!
