In a statement signed by Coordinator Mr. Agu Chineme Enyiduru and Secretary Dr. Chris Ezema, the Guild emphasized that it will not be recognized or associated with any other nomenclature apart from its official designation.

Nsukka, Enugu State - A significant event took place on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Golden Valley Hotel Ltd , Nsukka. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph Chigbo Agu was consecrated and installed as the first Byzantine Catholic Bishop in Southern Nigeria . The ceremony was performed by three esteemed bishops: - His Grace Most Rev.
