Evang. Ebuka Obi of Zion Ministry Lagos and Miss Helen fake Testimony lady.

A 32-year-old woman, Loveth Alo Helen, was arraigned in Enugu Magistrate Court on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, for giving a fake testimony at Zion Prayer Movement in Lagos. Helen faced a four-count charge of defamation, conspiracy, felony, and false pretence before Enugu North Magistrate District Court, presided over by S.O. Chukwuani [1).

The prosecution alleged that Helen falsely presented herself as the owner of a five-bedroom duplex located at Plot 16 WTC Estate, Enugu, belonging to Arch. Emmanuel Asogwa. Helen pleaded not guilty to all charges and was granted bail in the sum of one million naira, with a surety who has three years' tax clearance [1).

In her defense, Helen claimed that she did not arrange or discuss the testimony with anyone and did not receive any payment. She maintained that her testimony was an act of faith, hoping to acquire the property in the future.

The case was adjourned until April 9, 2025, for further hearing. As of the time of this report, Helen was yet to meet her bail conditions.
