Reports reaching our news desk indicate that Surv. (Barr.) Albert Edoga, erstwhile Commissioner of Lands and former Head of Service, Enugu State, has fallen victim to a kidnapping incident. According to sources, the unfortunate event occurred on Friday, 31st January 2025, along the Opi Nsukka - Ugwogo Nike Road. Regrettably, credible information suggests that he remains in captivity.

We implore the Governor to intervene and provide assistance in this distressing situation. As the primary breadwinner of his family, his loved ones are earnestly pleading for government and security agencies to take swift action towards securing his safe release.
