ALOR AGU COMMUNITY RECEIVES GENEROUS LAND DONATION FROM BARR. VINCENT EGECHUKWU OBETTA, Ph.D.

In a heartwarming display of philanthropy, Barr. Vincent Egechukwu Obetta, Ph.D., a distinguished son of Alor Agu, has donated a substantial portion of his land to the community for development purposes. The official handing over ceremony took place on December 30, 2024, at Ajara Alor-Agu, with the Oha Ero, the highest decision-making body of Alor-Agu community, led by the Oriewu Uwani, in attendance.

During the ceremony, Barr. Obetta announced that the donated land will be specifically used for the development of a cottage hospital, demonstrating his unwavering support for Dr. Mbah's primary health care project. This project aims to enhance the well-being and quality of life for the community's residents.

In a related gesture, Barr. Obetta had previously donated portions of his land to Oha-Ero on October 10, 2024, for the development of the CPS 1 SMART SCHOOL PROJECT in Alor-Agu. Additionally, he donated an extra plot of land in support of the SMART SCHOOL initiative. These philanthropic endeavors underscore his commitment to the advancement and empowerment of the Alor Agu Community.

Barr. Obetta expressed his gratitude for the recognition and blessings bestowed upon him by Oriewu Uwani, reaffirming his dedication to contributing positively to the community's growth and development.
