Yesterday, October 20, 2024, marked a significant milestone in the humanitarian landscape of Enugu State, Nigeria, as the Dr. Asadu Solomon Grassroots Initiative Global Charity Foundation officially launched its operations at the Gold Value Hotel and Resort, Upper Chime Avenue.

The founder and Country Director, Dr. CC Solomon Asadu, Okpata Ozue Ora 1, delivered a poignant keynote address, elucidating the foundation's purpose: to alleviate poverty among vulnerable widows and youths lacking empowerment opportunities. Dr. Asadu emphasized the organization's commitment to global poverty eradication, underscoring its humanitarian focus.

"We are a team working to bring succor to the vulnerable in our society," Dr. Asadu stressed, addressing National Directors and States Coordinators. The foundation's inaugural empowerment program is slated for December 7, 2024, at Okpara Square, Enugu.

Leaders in attendance lauded Dr. Asadu's visionary leadership, pledging their unwavering support and dedication to the foundation's noble cause. The Country Director also outlined the selection process for beneficiaries, ensuring transparency and fairness.

This landmark event heralds a new era of hope for the marginalized, solidifying the Dr. Asadu Solomon Grassroots Initiative Global Charity Foundation's position as a leading NGO in Southeast Nigeria.
