THE AKU 3 SAGA: A CALL FOR CALM AND DUE PROCESS.
In a stunning turn of events, the usually tranquil town of Aku has been thrust into a state of heightened tension, following the disappearance of three young men who ventured to Ikolo on August 1, 2024, in search of a herbal remedy for a critically ailing family member.
As the Aku community grapples with the uncertainty surrounding the whereabouts of these missing youths, the leadership of Aku town has convened an emergency meeting, comprising representatives from AGA, AWAF, Ndiomu Aku, and the youth wing. This gathering, held on August 5, 2024, yielded a series of decisive actions aimed at unraveling the mystery shrouding the disappearance of the three boys.
In a bold move, a petition has been forwarded to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Esq., as well as the Commissioner of Police and the Director of DSS in Enugu State, soliciting their prompt intervention in this matter.
As the Aku community awaits the outcome of these efforts, the National President of AWAF, Sir Theo Didigwu, has issued a clarion call for calm, urging all stakeholders to remain law-abiding and eschew any actions that might exacerbate the situation.
In a show of solidarity, the Chief Administrator of Oganiru Aku Diewa has pledged his unwavering support for the initiatives undertaken by AGA, AWAF, Ndiomu Aku, and the Aku Youths, underscoring the imperative of suspending all programs outside of those sanctioned by AGA.
As the search for the missing Aku 3 continues, the community remains united in its quest for a swift and peaceful resolution, even as it grapples with the emotional toll of this ordeal on the families of the missing youths.
