 A GLORIOUS REQUIEM: THE BURIAL CEREMONY OF PROF. CHARLES AL'NEFUNGWU ATTah.




On the 26th of July, 2024, the sleepy town of Aku, bore witness to a majestic funeral procession, as the mortal remains of the erudite Prof. Charles Al'nefungwu Attah were laid to rest. The ceremony, a testament to the deceased's illustrious life, was a grand confluence of dignitaries, academics, and well-wishers.


The assemblage was a veritable who's who of Enugu State's elite, with luminaries such as Senator Barr. Okey Ezea, His Excellency Dr. Okwy Nwodo, and Hon. Frank Ugwu, among others, in attendance. The Nsukka Professors, led by Prof. P. Ugwoke, also paid their respects. The event, expertly anchored by Mc O one, alongside Mc Concept and Mc Fabulous, was a fitting tribute to a life well-lived. May the soul of Prof. Attah rest in eternal peace.

    It was indeed a memorable event. Prof. Attah was indeed a good man and a philanthropist dedicated to improving the health welfare of Ndi Aku Diewa.
