LIVING A LIFE THAT MATTERS: THE POWER OF SELFLESSNESS.

Image
Hon. Prophet Agu Chineme Mc O one aka Akidi Jesus, a Social Critic's and a Public Speaker Have you ever stopped to think about the purpose of your life? Is it just about personal happiness and success, or is there something more. I've come to realize that a life truly worth living is one that brings joy and meaning to others. When we focus solely on our own happiness, we miss out on the opportunity to make a positive impact on those around us. A LIFE OF SELFISHNESS IS NOT WORTH LIVING: If you only live for yourself, you haven't truly lived. Your existence becomes meaningless if it doesn't benefit others. No matter how much wealth or status you accumulate, if you don't touch lives, your life is wasted. THE PARABLE OF THE TREE: Imagine a tree growing in the forest, reaching its peak, and then dying. Its legacy? Fertilizer for other plants. Is that the legacy you want to leave. LEAVE A LASTING IMPACT: Let's make our lives count! Let's use our time, talents, and...

Do Not Destroy Democracy In Nigeria: CNPP Charges INEC to Stay Impartial in Edo Election.

Image
Abuja, Nigeria - September 22, 2024. The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) has warned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to maintain neutrality and ensure the sanctity of the electoral process in the Edo State Governorship Election. In a statement signed by its Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Comrade James Ezema, the CNPP emphasized that "As Edo State citizens have exercised their right to vote, it is crucial that INEC remains impartial and transparent during the collation of results." It is worrisome and troubling that the feelers we are getting from Edo State confirm a deliberate ploy by one of the big parties who are mouthing the support of Mr President, and insisting on changing the results and the figures already on the INEC Portal. Mr President MUST call them to order. The CNPP insists that INEC must safeguard the trust of Nigerians by prioritizing the integrity of the process, warning against manipulation or undermining democracy i...

A REBUTTAL TO THE MISGUIDED ACCLAIM: A CALL FOR PERSPECTIVE

Image
By Agu Chineme from Enugu. Perusing a recent publication, I chanced upon a declaration that left me aghast: "Igbo Youths Hail Tinubu on the Fuel Pump Price." This assertion is not only bemusing but also a stark reflection of the pervasive acquiescence that has beset our collective psyche. Aka Eze Aka PDP Chairmanship Candidate of Udenu LGA, Enugu State. While it is true that the current economic hardship has spared no ethnic group, the Igbo youths' seeming resignation to their fate is predicated on a fundamental premise: that the Nigerian populace was presented with a binary choice between good governance and bad governance, and, regrettably, opted for the latter. In their view, the dividends of good governance have already been procured on their behalf, rendering protests and demonstrations redundant. This acquiescent mindset is encapsulated in their mantra: "We all have to manage." Since the ascension of Tinubu to the presidency, I have refrained from lamentin...
