Filmmaking: Igbo-Etiti LG Partners With AGN To Promote Culture, Tourism.

The chairman of Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area, Dr. Eric Odo has said that his administration would do everything possible to promote the culture and tourism of the area. He also pledged to closely work with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) in order to make Igbo-Etiti a preferred destination for filmmaking in the South East. Odo made this known on Monday when members of AGN, Nsukka Satellite Zone, led by their Co-ordinator, Mr. Chineme Agu paid him a courtesy visit in Ogbede. According to him, there is no better way to tell the story of people or place other than acting it out, saying Igbo-Etiti would tell their story. He promised to provide adequate security around tourism sites in the area to ensure that actors or actresses coming for film production are protected.
