ROBBERY AT OPI: Hausa Security Guard Employed by Victim Leads Gang in Shocking Heist.

In a brazen and shocking incident, a resident of Opi, Nsukka in Enugu State, known as Arapa Na Opi, was robbed and tied up in his own home by a gang led by his own Hausa security guard.

The incident occurred last night when the security guard, who had served the victim for years, and his accomplices gained entry into the house, overpowered the victim, and tied his hands and legs. They then dumped him in his toilet and made off with N500,000 cash, properties, and the victim's car.

Miraculously, the victim survived and began shouting for help through a window in the toilet where he was held captive. Neighbors heard his cries and rushed to his rescue.

The police are yet to apprehend the suspects, but investigations are ongoing.

This incident serves as a stark reminder to be cautious when employing security personnel. It's essential to thoroughly vet potential employees and ensure they have guarantors before hiring them to safeguard our homes and properties.
